Common Ground An exhibition by six artists Thurs 5th - Sun 8th November, 11:00am - 6:00pm, admission free Two painters, a stone sculptor, a jeweller and two ceramicists are exploring Common Ground in the pared-back splendour of The Regency Town House in Hove. “Exhibiting together previously has allowed us to develop a combined aesthetic and mutual kindness in the works we choose and their curation, exploring our collective relationship between abstraction and colour, adornment and function in 2 and 3 dimensional work… …The Regency Town House provides the perfect setting to develop this further, demanding, as it does, a strong dialogue and coherence between the elegance of pared-back Regency architecture and the works we exhibit in this glorious space.” Artists: Paintings: Kate Scott Paintings and drawings: Susanne Winter A sculpture & stone carvings: Davina Colmer Ashdown Pottery: Anthea Stewart and Bill Gowans Handmade sustainable jewellery: Emma Stanton
